Languages and themes
All three controls live in the same place: open the User menu in the top-right corner and look under Preferences. Changes apply immediately and persist across sessions and devices.
Languages
Pondara ships in three languages today:
| Language | Code | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| English | en | Default. |
| Deutsch | de | Full glossary coverage. |
| Español | es | Full glossary coverage. |
The product entity glossary is shipped per locale. Most terms have idiomatic translations (Trainer:in, Practicante, Vista previa). A few terms are intentionally preserved verbatim across all three languages — most notably Engagement — because in the field they do not have a precise local equivalent and partners expect the same word in every locale. This is a deliberate vocabulary decision, not a missing translation.
Themes
| Theme | What it does |
|---|---|
| Light | Light surface, dark text. The default. |
| Dark | Dark surface, light text. |
| System | Follows the operating system’s prefers-color-scheme. Updates live if the OS toggles. |
Status pills, charts, and the AI-vs-trainer evidence layers are all token-driven and read identically in either theme.
Density
Density controls the spacing applied to lists, tables, and dense forms. It does not change typography or affect prose pages.
| Density | Best for |
|---|---|
| Comfortable | Default. Generous spacing for reading and scanning. |
| Compact | More rows on screen. Useful on the trainer Bandeja, scenario libraries, and admin tables. |
The keyboard shortcut for the toggle is ⌘⇧D (or Ctrl-Shift-D on
Windows and Linux). See
Keyboard shortcuts.
Notes
- The User menu is the single home for all three controls. The topbar trailing strip itself is reserved for action affordances (search, the AI Copilot, notifications), not preferences.
- Pre-auth surfaces (the login page) expose the language and theme controls inline instead, since there is no User menu yet.
