Opt out of AI
You can turn off AI-authored evidence on your record. This guide explains where the toggle lives, what it changes, and — importantly — what it does not change.
Where to find it
Open your Settings page. The AI section has the opt-out toggle. Flip it; the change is immediate.
What changes
When AI opt-out is on, AI-authored evidence is suppressed for your engagements going forward. Your trainer authors evidence directly from reading the dialogue, without the AI signal as a starting point.
Evidence already on your record from before you opted out stays where it is. The setting is forward-looking.
What does not change
This is the important part. Opting out does not remove the AI from your engagements:
- The AI sparring partner still plays actors during the hybrid dialogue. You can’t have a scenario without the actor on the other side — that’s the scenario.
- The reflection prompts still appear. Those prompts are authored by the field expert who built the scenario; the AI is delivering them, not generating them.
- Your competency record still moves through your trainer. That was already true; the trainer’s verdict was always the only writer of your record. See evidence and verdicts.
What it costs
Opting out is a real choice, not a free upgrade. Your trainer has more to do, not less — they are now authoring evidence from the raw dialogue without an AI first pass. Verdicts may take longer to land. If your cohort has many learners and a single trainer, this matters.
How to turn it back on
Same place. Settings → AI section. Flip the toggle the other way. Future engagements pick up AI-authored evidence again from the next verdict.
